Sylvie’s travels in Europe over the last 20 years kindled a renewed passion for art as she visited ancient villages in Italy, France and Spain where history, architecture and traditions stubbornly survive the invasion of the modern world. Realizing that these wonderful places still exist touched her deeply. The myriads of colours on the walls of these small towns inspired her whimsical treatments of these vibrant villages perched among hills and vineyards.
